Lot 45 - Australian Military Training Planes set of 1

This stamp was issued in November 1980 as one in a set of four.

The CA-6 Wackett Trainer plane was designed by Lawrence Wackett. It was designed in-house at the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation of Australia.

Two hundred of these planes were manufactured and began entering service for the Royal Australian Air Force in 1941.
